Traversing the Široka peč Ridge to the Dovški križ Mountain

The Široka peč Ridge is one of the greatest faces in the Julian Alps. This magnificent fortress features an exposed ridge shaped as a true saw consisting of seven rock towers. When we traverse the Široka peč Ridge we climb all of these towers. The traverse is a demanding tour, because the approach to the Amphitheater and the ascent of the easternmost rock tower poses a climbing challenge of its own. The finishing traverse across the ridge to the Dovški križ Mountain is like a cherry on top of an inspiring climbing experience.
